Do you like old classics? If so, I'd really recommend Little Women. It's about 4 sisters during the civil war. Don't worry, it's not boring;)
ooo I wanna hop in on this little women conversation, I love that book with my whole heart! Also, there are many classic stories that are amazing. I'd definitely recommend Frankenstein for a Gothic, dark read. It is truly great!

Oh, I've many. There's Hunger Games (ofc), The Infernal Devices, and then some Meluha books about Indian Mythology. I guess you've read THG but if you're looking for a reread so :)

I love Jane Eyre and Little Women! Anyone have recommendations for classics that are easier to understand and more for beginners?

Well, my all time favourites are Pride and Prejudice ( obviously ) and Emma!! ( yes, I am a Jane Austen fan!! Should we have a word for some author's fans?? :D )
Apart from Austen there's To Kill A Mocking Bird and Mrs. Dalloway. :))

Hmm. I don't know if you'll like it, considering your classic preferences, but you can try Sherlock Holmes. I love it <3

Ayesha the whole community of her readers is called the Austen Cult (which sounds really scary tbh 😅), but I prefer the sweeter one, Austen Girl <3
And Natalie you should definitely try Jane Austen. Her classics are beautiful and thought provoking and emotional and intense all at once, but they are pretty light compared to some heavier works as I've heard. (like Jane Eyre!)
Nikki I haven't read keeper of lost cities, but just recommending you throne of glass anyways cause it's freaking awesome 😇
Nikki wrote: "books similar to Keeper of the Lost Cities?"You should read Land of Stories! It's pretty similar to Keeper of the Lost Cities, and it's really good!

The Falling Kingdom series by Morgan Rhodes has some good snow parts. It’s one of my favorite series!

It is Austen Cult?? I had no idea 😂😂
Yes, Austen Girl is way sweeter but shouldn't it be a little less gender specified?? Like Austenians or something?? 😅❤️

Who do you mean by you? Because I got what you mean (as discussed before, I ALWAYS get what you mean :))

Since me and Ayesha were talking I was referring to her, but "you" can refer to all you three mods, who would experience my intense fangirling sessions over "Andrew" in the mods groups :D
And yeah, Aj, you do always get what I mean, no matter how weird it is <3

Yaazhini wrote: "Hey all! I want somebody to suggest me a good standalone book. I have so many books on my tbr that I don't know where to start with. Please help!!"I would highly recommend reading The House in the Cerulean Sea
Any Jennifer Niven books, but my favorite has to be breathless ❤️
If you end up reading it, I'd love to know your thoughts!

Hey ya'll. Okay so, I want to give Cassandra Clare a try, but I wanted your guys thoughts on this: should I start with City of Bones or could I start with Clockwork Angel? In all honesty Clockwork Angel sounded more interesting to me. But I'm down with reading the whole thing I just don't want to buy the wrong book if I don't have to read them in that order, ya know?
For anyone that loves YA contemporary 1. To All The Boys I've Loved Before
2. Everything, Everything
3. After
4. You Say It First
5. The Possibility Of Now
Holly wrote: "does anybody know some wintery books?"Yes! I would recommend The Possibility of Now by Kim Culbertson. It is a YA contemporary set in Lake Tahoe in winter. Super cozy. Lots of skiing, snow, and a great read. Enjoy!
