CPL's Book a Week Challenge discussion

Happy 1st day of September! I hope everyone has a wonderful start to the month. What books will you be kicking off September with? I started The Hate U Give yesterday and wow, such a powerful book. I'm only 80 pages in but I already know this will be a book I recommend to everyone to read. Also currently rereading A Countess Below Stairs and will hopefully be starting The Dream Thieves later on.

I'm still working on Tough Love by Susan Rice, I've just started Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens, and next up is either a cozy mystery or Dear Martin (or both).

Oona Out of Order
Virginia Waterways and the Underground Railroad
So far this month I'm reading the two books above.

The Virginia Waterways book is from a local history professor and I'm learning a lot about how Virginia, and especially the Tidewater, contributed to the Underground Railroad.

Oona Out of Order is this month's choice of the Big Ugly Brewing Co.'s Tall Tales book club. It tells the story of a protagonist who wakes up each New Year's as herself in a different year of life. I've just begun, but it's fun!
