This was not at all what I expected. Bernadette doesn't really disappear until near the end.I also wasn't ready for the heavy (view spoiler) That was pitiful.

I can easily see the format of this book making it difficult to stay invested.

I'm gonna say it. This format was ewwww. The way the author just summarizes everything through e-mails and messages seems a little lazy because it doesn't require actual exposition or narrative development. Nor, does it allow for actual character development either.And the ending?! Eyeroll.

HA! Yeah - I can easily see feeling this way. I am glad I got 3 stars out of it, but this response is not surprising!
