I will never get over this series

I didn't like Mortal Instruments much. But Infernal was a total turnover.

I haven't read anything else from the Chronicles, though I'm planning to. I found this on Kindle Unlimited and decided to read it.

I started with the mortal instruments in middle school but lost interest in the second book. I recently read The Infernal Devices though and they were just so much better in every way and you know a book is good when you think about the characters in it every day. I did ended up finishing the Mortal Instruments eventually (mostly for Magnus Bane💕) just so I could better understand the Shadowhunter world. I would recommend reading The Dark Artifices trilogy though, I was pleasantly surprised and you could really see the growth in the authors writing since the first couple series (also the Blackthorn children are just everything).

Oh, I absolutely LOVE everything about TID!!! I think, in most love triangles I actually root for someone, but in this one, I was just so confused... Because I love Jem and Will! ♥️
I still can't get over the epilogue of Clockwork Princess.. The way his death was described (you know what I'm talking about) and the meeting on the bridge! You know, I'm almost sure The Infernal Devices is Cassandra Clare's best work yet <3
