Book-a-book of the Month Club discussion

Hello all!

I’m working on a book challenge and I’m stuck on a category: a book centered around a holiday.

I thought I’d do something Halloween or Samhain related with it approaching. However, I’m having a hard time finding something where the holiday is a part of the story. Most are just horror/scary novels.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m open to any genre.

Hallowe'en Party by Agatha Christie is good, and also short!

I did some looking around and, while it does appear to be a chiller, The Halloween Tree by Ray Bradbury does take place on Halloween night.
