Elia Class structures in England tend to be much more divided and defined than they are in the USA. This was ESPECIALLY true at the time of this murder (1860's).
How do you think class division impacted the ability to solve this case for Mr. Whicher? What were some of the sources of class tensions between the residents of Road Hill House, the villagers and the police?
