Apple Tree Path
Bailee was walking around still getting used to the camp, even though she had been a camper here for a long time she hadn't been a councilor for long. She had decided that she was going to walk around until she came across someone that needed help or what not. She picked up a basket off the group that was used when the campers and counselors picked apples. She moved on of the many sunbeams over top of herself making a spotlight, though she really didn't need it. Bailee continued to walk around some of the paths in between the apple trees and stopped a few times to pick some decent apples.
Mazo walked into the path, taking an apple from a nearby tree and eating it. Her hair was blowing and her ring shined in the sunlight.
Azrael followed closely behind. She runs up to Mazo and walks side by side with her. Curious of how she was going to find out her power.
Elsa followed them curiously. Her hair whipped around her face as she walked behind them. I never really thought about what happens if someone doesn't know their power before coming here.
"All the fruit from the trees are free to eat, if you want some take it." She said smiling. She sat under a tree, smiling and stretching out. "This camp is an amazing place, I should be able to find you your councilors soon. So anyway may I ask where you two are from and your backround?" She asked.
Azrael looks at Elsa, wanting her to go first. Azrael didn’t like her past and felt more comfortable waiting till someone else spoke first. It was just what she felt was okay.
"O-oh, I'm from Norway," Elsa said simply. Don't ask about my family. Don't ask about my family. I don't want to be made fun of here, too.
"Oh, I hear Norway is nice. I am from Quebec, my parents were both doctors. One night my house was robbed, both of my parents were killed in front of me and they took my right hand." Mazo said, she was sad but she was being nice.
Bailee watched the girls from behind one of the trees. She still continued to pick apples but also watched them, listening in. She made sunbeams spotlight onto the three girls and smiled. She wondered what they were talking about. Bailee continued to walk around.
Azrael sighs "I grew up in Berlin, Germany." "My mom died when I was three in a car accident and I never had any siblings." "My dad hated me," "And when I was 9, I was diagnosed with a strange condition of Anhidrosis where I can't couldn’t control my body heat in cold or hot temperatures." "Scientists in Germany wanted me to come in for tests, but dad refused." "For some reason my father ended up finding a way to bring pain to my life," "Making me paranoid and scared." " He made me dropout of school, and any activities that involved talking to other people was one of his punishments." "Eventually he began to hit me whenever I got close or when he was having a bad day." "I began to dislike being touched and was always terrified." Azrael goes quiet she had never told anyone this before.
Mazo laid on her back, she seemed a bit happier from the sunlight. "Azreal, since you don't know your power I will be honest. For those that don't know their powers they sometimes make me use my powers on you but to a very limited extent, they will give you around a week before making me use it on you." She said.
Azrael was shocked, but at the same time, she didn’t want to wait. “Could you do it now?” She asks, she could deal with it, she had dealt with so much more in her life. “Please,” she says.
"And I am very very sorry to hear that he did that, you are safe now though." She said. Stretching more she grabbed an apple and ate it.
Suddenly my life seems like the best life ever, Elsa thought. She listened to what Mazo was saying. I want to learn how to control my powers...maybe she could help.
"Look, being around people with powers sometimes can make their power comes out. We don't want to make you panic for no reason." She said with a smile. "Plus it is not safe to do hear, I think they have something to keep you still so you can't hurt yourself." She said.
Azrael nods, she understood. “Okay,” she says, tho she didn’t want to wait she would do what Mazo thought was best. She didn’t want to get kicked out of her freedom.
"If you want I can do it tonight. It is up to you, I don't want you to be dreading it." She said smiling. She sat up and stroked Azrael's hair, her hand felt very nice.
"Oh, it's okay, I can go," Elsa offered. I don't wanna get in the way of her finding her power out. She turned to leave.
"No, don't leave, I can't do it right now anyway, it would have to wait until tonight Elsa." Mazo said with a chuckle.
Azrael smiles at Elsa, “if you want we can hangout till tonight,” she says. “And yes, I would like to do it tonight,” she says to Mazo. Azrael grabs and apple from one of the trees and take a bite, they were good apples.
Mazo nodded, agreeing to both, it was around 5 P.M. at the moment. Mazo climbed into the tree and hung by her legs before her chest coming back and hitting her in the face, knocking her down to the ground, thankfully everything stayed contained to her sweater.
"Oh, okay," Elsa said, then turned back around and went back to them. "Um, Mazo, I've got a question," she said hesitantly.
"Yes?" Mazo said, standing up slowly. She was in pain from well, you know. "What do you wish to ask Elsa?"
Azrael sat eating her apple, using both hands. She watches a flock of bird flight past. Then looks back at Elsa and Mazo.
( Guys this is Semi advanced, you have to write more than one-liners )
Bailee continued to watch the girls, eventually, she decided she had picked enough apples and carried her basket in the crook of her arm. She watched the girls as she strode out of the apple orchard. Bailee decided she would start to move back to her cabin and see who her campers were. She wondered what they were the Etheral of. She had finally made it out of the orchard when she could only hear the girls muffled voices.

Under technicality my last post was 3 sentences, but there is not a whole ton of which can be put at the current moment, not much is changing so there is not much to describe.)
( Still this is a semi-advanced group, just try :) )
Azrael had her legs crisscross-applesauce, and her bag sat on her lap the backside facing up like a table. She listens quietly to Elsa and Mazo, but inside she was quite excited about tonight, even though she had a few butterflies in her stomach out of nervousness. That she assumed was t be expected since she was going to see something fearful to bring out her abilities.
Ken wrote: ""Yes?" Mazo said, standing up slowly. She was in pain from well, you know. "What do you wish to ask Elsa?"""Well, I was wondering..." Elsa took a deep breath. "Could you maybe help me learn to control my powers? They get out of control when I experience high emotions including fear, and since that's your ethereal, I thought maybe you could help me practice controlling them."
"Well Elsa, I myself do not have absolute control of mine. So far though they have not caused any real issues." Mazo said with a sigh, eating another apple. "I can try to help but my main thing is making people incredibly scared, I can help a very very small amount with the fear but alas I am unable to give you an answer that will work for certain." Her voice had a twinge of shame in it.
"Well, when I'm scared I lose control too, so that would really help if you're open to it," Elsa said. She climbed up onto a low tree branch and sat on it, swinging her bare legs back and forth. She touched an apple but because she was so nervous about what would happen, frost coated the fruit immediately. She winced as the apple fell to the ground. "Sorry."
"I can attempt to help you as stated before." Mao said, watching the sky with a smile. "I can maybe use my power to invoke some fear into you and we can try to figure out what keeps you from freaking out."
Azrael was only half listening, she was quite distance at the moment. Her mind was full of possibilities of what her power could be, and if it would be dangerous. She fixes her beanie, and sighs.
Elsa nodded. "That would be really great. Thank you," she said gratefully, smiling at Mazo. "I've...never really been able to control my powers when my emotions are running high."
Mazo stretched and motioned for Elsa to climb down the tree. "Ok, I'll go as easy as I possibly can but I cannot say that you won't be terrified." She said, stretching and preparing to use her magic.
Azrael watched, she was kinda curious. But she was also worried, what would Elsa see when Mazo used her powers. Azrael sat up, she was ready to help Elsa if something went wrong.
Elsa hopped out of the tree and tied her hair up. "I understand. That's kind of the point," she said. She readied herself, taking a deep breath.
Mazo got everything that could be dangerous to her away before using her powers, whatever Elsa's worst fear appeared to her, but much much much worse than she could ever imagine. For instance if it was spiders a massive swarm of large spiders would come out of the grass and swarm all over her. It is all in her head but it can even control her movements, to the point it could easily knock her down.
Elsa blinked, and suddenly her sister's ice-cold, frozen body lay in front of her. Her eyes widened and she started hyperventilating. It's not real. It's not real! But it felt so real. And suddenly ice was everywhere. Spreading underneath their feet, hanging from the apple trees, falling from the sky in little pellets. IT'S NOT REAL! Elsa began backing away from her sister's body, trembling. "Anna..."
Mazo backed up, that was just the warmup, it would only get worse from there, Mazo can't stop the illusion even if she wanted to. "I hope she will be alright, I can't stop it now." She said, sitting in the tree, technically she does have a way in which she can stop it but it would be terrible for Elsa.
Azrael sat quietly watching, she felt like the world had stopped. Not out of fear but out of slight curiosity, she was curious about what Elsa was seeing. As well as what she would see.
As the scene unfolded before Elsa's eyes, her parents rushed over to Anna. They cried and screamed and glared at Elsa, banishing her from their house. Outside was an angry mob, yelling at her and trying to hurt her. As Mazo and Azrael watched, Elsa's small figure was pushed back and forth by invisible beings that only Elsa could see. She began defensively shooting ice out of her hands, unable to stop it or control it. As she was harassed even more by the illusion, she lost more and more control and, eventually, as she was pushed to the ground, she let out a cry and a circle of sharp, cold ice comes from her hands, pushing all the figures away. She curled up in a ball on the ground and made a little cocoon of ice around herself.
Azrael watched in shock, she was scared for Elsa. Watching as she curled up in a ball of ice, almost like a shield.
Elsa's little ice cocoon grew defensive spikes. Spikes covered the ground around it as well. Soft whimpering came from Elsa inside the cocoon.
Azrael looks at the cocoon, she wondered if she could get closer and avoid the shards of ice and help Elsa. This was all quite over whelming seeing what fear did to people, and people with powers clearly reacted differently the people without.
Hail was falling, and the chunks were getting larger. The hail tore holes in the leaves of the apple trees and apples were dropping to the ground under the weight of the ice covering them. Elsa trembled inside her little ball of ice, not saying a word. Her tears froze on her cheeks but she was used to the cold.
Azrael who was unable to control her body temperature found this cold almost unbearable. She could feel her body temperature lowering, and her eye lids become heavy. Azrael's cheeks quickly become red and her skin becomes pale, and she attempts to stay awake.

The Apple Tree Path is the road leading up to the main section of camp. The path is lined is various fruit trees that the camp grows to sell and eat. Many days you may find campers lounging in the shade of a large apple tree, climbing through the branches, or strolling down the beautiful lane.
