Also if there's anybody that is in no position to read the comic, there does exist a movie adaptation that stars Benjamin Mackenzie (Gotham, Southland) and Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) as Bruce Wayne and James Gordon respectively. It's available for streaming on HBO Max (which you can watch on a 7 Day Free Trial) and you can also rent the movie on YouTube and Prime Video.
