Your task this month is to read at least 1 book that WON a book award. Period. Any year ... any month. What will you read?

* Comment below with the book you're reading for the challenge and the award it won and the date it was presented. Mark it CHALLENGE COMPLETE if you've read the book.

cat reads (thecatwhoreads) | 22 comments This was one of the most interesting reading challenges I took this year.

For the last book of this challenge, I chose Nights at the Circus by Angela Carter, which won the James Tait Black Award.

Thanks for hosting this, TJ. :)

CHALLENGE COMPLETE!

Yay! Last book of the year!!

Phew! Got at least one in - I did November's award winner - Silver in the Wood by Emily Tesh - winner of the 2020 World Fantasy Award for Best Novella. I absolutely loved it. Very quick read - whimsical and magical. There's a 2nd book in the series so I plan on reading that too.

Simone (simonec75) For December I chose a classic. I've never read it before and was surprised how much I enjoyed it.
A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams
