I have never read any of her stuff, but just started listening to Big Little Lies on Audible. It's funny and entertaining. I bought a copy for my sister in paperback because she's a Sydney gal with little kids - I think she will love it!

Which are you Liane faves? Have you read any of her sister Jaclyn's books? (I have read one!)

Karen | 3 comments Just downloaded Big Little Lies as I saw it came second in the Goodreads Readers choice awards for 2014 and after spending 10 years in Sydney I think it will appeal to me. Haven't read anything of hers or her sisters before though Pip!

Chloe | 20 comments I've just picked up Big Little Lies from the library after reading the comments on it here. Looking forward to reading it...

Jo (jopetal) I just read my first book by Liane, "What Alice Forgot" and I loved it. I could relate to the storyline and the feelings and thoughts of the main character were so close to my own I almost felt like she knew me. I will definitely be reading more of her books.

Lindsey (lindseyclare) | 6 comments I haven't read anything by Liane, but I've read a few of Jaclyn's and I really like her quirky style. She has the YA series as birdandfox mentioned, but she also has a booked called I Have A Bed Made of Buttermilk Pancakes which is funny and cute and VERY quirky. I think you'd like it, Pip!
Apparently there are three Moriarty sisters who all write books. Interesting!

Lindsey (lindseyclare) | 6 comments Oh, one more thing. I'm too nervous to read Big Lies Little Lies because Megan from Children's Books Daily said that the school mum vibes are FIERCE and REALISTIC which scared me, haha. (My eldest starts school next year!)

message 14: by Chloe (new)

Chloe | 20 comments Lindsey, I've read a couple of Liane's books - Big Little Lies and The Husband's Secret. I read Big Little Lies before my son started school (he started in September) and I vowed never to go to a school social event!!
