I guess there are a lot of things we can all relate to because when we think we are the only one doing this there are lot of people out there who also do the same.

There are looooads of things us bookworms can relate too! I gotta a long list that goes on to forever but id have to say the “dog ears” is the one for me. Seriously get a bookmark! They were created for books so use them! I mean everything should serve its purpose dont ya think?
My biggest issue is buying books when I already own more than I can read and also getting books from the library instead of reading the ones I own because I know my books will always be there when I want to read them.
So relate to all of the above! hahaWhat about buying different versions of the same book? I have about 4 versions of Philosophers Stone and love every one!
LOL! I relate to all of you! I buy more books than I think I can read in my lifetime! But I never stop. And yes, I can't stand when people bend pages in a book instead of using book marks. And obviously you need multiple copies of the same title. they aren't really the same because they are different versions or covers.....right?

I try not to do this, but I have to admit that I also have multiple versions of that book. I'm not sure why, but a couple of them I was really excited to get.
Yep I have the same problem with reading books from the library instead of reading the ones on my self because I know they will always be there. In addition, I have two neighbors that basically have a library in there house, so I don't even need a library I just pop by. ;) OOOOOOOHHH!!! YES!! I hate it when instead of using a book mark ( anything flat ) they fold the corners of the pages. 😡😖😂
Ooh I could never fold the corners! I feel like that would be folding a little piece of my soul... but I always lose my bookmarks! Is it just me?
I love Agatha Christi. I see a book at the book store with a new cover and buy it. I know she is dead. But something in my thinks its a new book. LOL I keep buying books i already own because of new covers
Haha!!!! There is just a huge world of bookworms like us its amazing! And how we are all similar! I just hate worn out books and bent spines its like someone opened up my chest and pulled out my heart ( too graphic i know but cant help it its just the way i feel) also i love walking into a book store and the smell of paper hits your nostrils its like candy land for us😂 i can stare at THEM forever! Okay is it just me but anything book related just gets you excited even if its a picture of a book i get so excited! Also in my spare time i browse books and reviews on good reads ( okay i lied im doing it ALL the time im obsessed but its okay we have the right too!)😂😂😃
Has anyone faced this scenario- "this chapter and then I go to sleep" and then the book becomes so incredibly unputdownable that before you know it, it's almost morning!
Only sharing books with friends who are into the reading habit and keeping a track of books shared with friends and reminding them shamelessly to finish reading or else return back the book.

Faced this with most of the books, I have read. Also, sometimes falling asleep while reading, which happens to be the best sleep and waking up feeling guilty of not finishing the book and falling asleep! :D
It makes me happy that there are lot if things we all can relate to. I never had a friend who loves reading books, all my friends are like "we don't like reading books" so i m always on my own reading books and never talk to anyone about reviews and shared thoughts. But this just made me feel like i am not alone, that there are a lot of people out there and it makes us all a FAMILY!!
Yes we are a FAMILY us book lovers gotta stick together because no one understands our undying love and devotion for books apart from us! They are not elite like us😏
Apurva have done that so many times- slept with a book or the transistor ( decades ago) in my hand. Zara give people a chance the world is full of book lovers. You will meet plenty.
Oh my god YES! Its so stressful!! I mean especially when the book is so good and you just want to read and read without any distractions and having to put it down again and again can get annoying and also im the type of person that cannot start reading again from where i left of straight away it takes me time to remember what has happened and get into the vibe. I just read at night when theres no noise and distractions (cant read in noise)!!
Oh yeah, It really annoys me when I am busy and can't read books nonstop. My medical college entrance test is just a month away and I am so busy studying that I hardly find time to read books and my tbr keeps growing day by day.
does anyone else have a fav book which you can pick up anytime and start from anywhere. and stop at any time? read and re read many times? For me it's - To kill a mockingbird.

There are many books which I always prefer re-reading when I can't focus after starting a new book. Re-reading helps me again become familiar with my reading habits and build confidence that I can complete the new book even though I have lost touch with reading habits.
My all-time re-read books: Any books of Ruskin Bond, Pride and Prejudice & most favorite A Thousand Splendid Suns
Going to someone’s home where there are no books around makes me uneasy. I could never live that way!!

A Thousand Splendid Suns by KH and to be fair any book by the author :)
I don't like it when in movies nerdy girls are shown like wearing glasses and carrying a lot of books, like seriously does reading books make you nerdy? cuz I don't think so.
Exactly reading books does not make you a nerd! And oh my god some people ( i think the word ‘people’ is too polite for them) call bookworms ‘boring’ just because they take pleasure in reading anytime and reading is looked at as a boring hobby just because it is a quiet thing to do and i think them people are just negative and bored with their own lives! If only they knew the excitement and joy one book brings us with its excellence but only elite people get that feeling and we are beyond CONTENT WITH OURSELVES AND OUR BOOK CRAVE!! We are a book family and we stand firm and proud against all criticism and negativity!! Grins*****
Yes, I think reading is like much more than just a word. If only people knew the joys of reading and the comfort it offers you. I think everyone should experience the love for books.
Yesss absolutely agree, Zara. My friends have a weird prejudice over English books, novels, short stories whatever, they just can't get over their silly misconception that all English language books are dull and that actually pisses me off a lot. To me, those trashy Chinese romance novels are the ones that have no content in them but sadly, no one agrees
does anyone else get really angry when you see people who read but dont use bookmarks and turn the pages down.
I can't stand it when people treat books roughly or damage them in any sort of way. My friends call me weird because of this
Yes exactly!! English novels are amazing there soooo many genres and MAGICAL stories that actually spellbound you! They wouldn’t understand its their loss how tragic! And i dont get how you can mistreat a book! When you first pick up a new book you dont even feel like holding it because its so pretty and perfect even opening the first page your so careful so it dosent bend a little! It scares me haha
Omg i cringe SOO hard watching someone manhandle a book i want to smack them with it! And oh my god i HATE wet pages and after they crinkle it breaks my heart!!! I feel like if you cant take care of a book you have no right to read it you need to offer it security and respect before you read! 😁
Yesyesyess that's absolutely true!!! And I like the smell of new books, lol, they're just so comforting :))
I remember when I bought The Silent Patient and I told one of my cousins (she is studying phsycology so I thought the book was good for her) how it was such a great page turner. I told her that she could read it only but she was like can I borrow your book, I suck at saying no so I gave her my book. I comforted myself saying it wasn't a long novel she'll probably read it in like two or three days but here I am today she still hasn't returned my book and the last time I saw the book when I went to her home it was in a really bad shape and she was like I am not even halfway through the book. That was the first and last time I ever let someone borrow my books.
OMG that sucks. I'm really sorry for you. And for the book. I can't stand people like that and you should totally demand that she return the book now. No offence to your cousin though
Yeah, I think I have to ask her to give the book back.Cuz seems like she doesn't have any plans on returning the book anytime soon. lol
Oh my god my condolences to you and the book! I feel your pain! I cannot give someone my books just like that and im a sucker for saying yes to everyone too. I gave my sister a book to borrow and i saw it wet in her bag so i took it off her and told her shes not allowed to borrow a book again from me and also ......i gave away the ending to her🙂
Ahh this makes me so sad :( I'm really sorry for that and a special edition one as well! What a loss...
