Jess:
If the Library owns the eBook, you can check it out and read it on a phone, tablet or eReader!
You can search our catalog (https://catalog.slcolibrary.org/polaris/) to see if we own it and if we do, you can check it out for up to three weeks.
Information on our digital items is here: https://www.slcolibrary.org/what-we-h...
You can see a quick start guide for these services here:

Of course, definitely feel free to give us a call too and we can help walk you through the process! 801.943.4636

Some authors don't publish their eBook novellas commercially. If you can't find it in the library catalog, check the author's website. Their website should tell you if there is a free way to read it online.
Thank you for both of your help. I was able to check it out using the Libby app. It actually just became available today. I am glad that I decided to go back and read it as it answers quite a few questions I had as the books went on. But I also glad it was short. I have a difficult time focusing on digital screens so if it had been longer I might have moved on just from the frustration of trying to read it.

I am currently in the middle of reading a mystery series. The next book listed in goodreads says it is 4.5 a Novella. It looks like it is only available as an ebook? I have never done ebooks how dose it work?
