Tell me about your favourite reading spots! I love to read in bed with a coffee or hot chocolate :)

I like reading in my bed, my chair, or on the couch with some sort of beverage (usually coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and sometimes just plain water)

my bed, anywhere at school, the toilet (don’t ask)

I don’t have to ask about the toilet. It’s the most reliable reading spot ever 😂

Absolutely! ahahah XD

There is a window seat where I spend most of my time reading, but occasionally I pile all my cushions onto my bed next to the window and read in my own personal best

picture the scene:
It’s snowing outside. fat, wet flakes are falling and settling. the street has been transformed into a sparkling, otherworldly magic kingdom. it’s too cold to go outside, so you grab a fantasy book that looks good and head upstairs. first you start a fire in the fireplace, and wait until it fills the house with crackling heat. next you turn the radio to a station with christmas songs on, and wrap a blanket around yourself. you sit on the bed, cushions everywhere, in a cocoon. a mug of hot chocolate topped with mountains of whipped cream and a dusting of cocoa powder sits beside you as you read. you are in heaven.

ok now I wish it was christmas...

Super envious of the window seat! I mostly read in my beanbag chair or on the floor surrounded by blankets

I have one at my parents', in my own place I have a lovely reading chair by the window now

My pets make it pretty much impossible to get any reading done outside my room - I'm lucky they haven't claimed the beanbag chair yet!

what kind of pets do you have?

A cat and a dog - both black and white. The cat was a stray (called felix - we were NOT very creative) and Bella is part collie, part lab, and part dalmatian

i want a cat so bad, my mom told me taht we may get one in the near future, so fingers crossed

My kittens love to get their paws wet in their water bowl, then hop around on my reading chair, so it looks like a disaster most of the time

My cat's just as bad - I used to have a lovely reading chair by the window in the living room, but she owns it now. It's always covered in hair, and if you try reading there she'll complain until you move

i’ve had three cats and one dog (not all at the same time) and they do play havoc wuth your reading spots! if they want it, game over!

Absolutely! Even if I try reading with one on my lap, they'll jump on and off me every five minutes

My fav reading spot always used to be my bed but I got tired of always reading there and then we went on vacation. Me and my friend always used to go to the river at 6PM with our books. On the rivers there’s this bridge with a table where you can sit, so we read and watched the sunset and now that’s my favorite reading spot🙃
