Jack Whicher is SO famous in England, that he got his own movie. More than one in fact! In 2011 the BBC turned The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher into a series of made for TV movies starring Paddy Considine (best known to American audiences for the movie Hot Fuzz and the show Peaky Blinders) and Peter Capaldi (Dr. Who). The murder at Road Hill House was the first to be given the movie treatment.
If you happen to have Amazon Prime, the movie is free to watch, and it's actually pretty good!
