Penny walked in an threw her stuff down on the side with the window.

Jade walked in and dumped her clothes on her bed not really caring

“Neither did I,” Penny said sarcastically. “I was talking to the birds outside.”

Jade laughed, "Okay I'm sorry."

Penny decorated her side of the room in shades of midnight blue, covering her walls with murals of the night sky. She didn’t say anything to Jade.

Jade shrugged not caring and stuffed her earbuds in her ears listening to some music
