Lani walked into her room to find her bags organized neatly. The maids hadn't touched any of them, though, which was good. She preferred to sort through her things alone.

She finished unpacking and putting everything away, then changed her clothes. She walked out of the room wearing a midnight-blue-and-black gown with three-quarter sleeves and a shorter, flared skirt. Lazuli braided her hair neatly, but loosely and ornamental.

Lazuli walked back into her room and changed again, into a set of high-waisted black leggings and a cropped open-back white top, and sneakers. She tied her hair up in a neat ponytail and left to work out.
