Kate, BPL Librarian | 30 comments Due to the November and December holidays, we will be changing our usual schedule. There will be no meeting in November, and we will meet on Wednesday, December 2 at 6:30. We will go back to our usual meetings on the fourth Wednesday of the month in January.

By popular demand, our book for December 2 will be If Beale Street Could Talk by James Baldwin.

You can order a physical copy of the book through our online catalog.

If Beale Street Could Talk was adapted into a movie in 2018. If anyone chooses to watch the movie as well as read the book, we can discuss both!

Donna Capern | 20 comments Thank you, Kate! That's a terrific book and I look forward to rereading it and to the discussion.
