Kaya walked in with the other Selected, looking around the room. This one was vastly different from the hall, and she found it a bit more comforting. It reminded her of her own home.

Aaralyn ran into the room, surprisingly not late. She stopped and leaned against one of the walls, exhausted after running all through the castle.

Jayden walked in, towards the back of the group, smiling as he looked around at the room. He adjusted his suit, looking forward to changing into his jeans and flannel and riding on his motorcycle.

Rose ran in, her hair a nest of messiness. She winced as she attempted to fix it, but all she could do was take out the large knots and put her hair up into a ponytail (view spoiler)[<- like that but without the sparkly thingies and the fancy outfit(still the same red dress) (hide spoiler)]. She settled her hands in her lap and started to play with her aerokinesis.

He froze and stared at her. "You did what?!" He hissed, mentally slapping himself for being so clueless.

Catalina burst in, almost tripping over her own feet before catching herself on the wall. "I'm here!" She called, a bit out of breath in her black leggings, white flats, and pale yellow tee with a smiley pastel green cactus patch over her heart.

Jayden was about to open his mouth to snap at her but almost choked when he heard the end of her sentence. He mumbled a few encouraging words, trying desperately to keep his face blank.

Aaralyn snickered at Kala's words. "This is going to be fun to watch," She whispered to her sister.

Kaya blanched at the idea. They had to practice talking? The one thing she was the worst at? That's not good.

Rose thought, That's it? Okay, I mean I practice talking higher-ups all the time, so this shouldn't be too hard. And besides, I've met hotter people. She started thinking about things to talk about. Like her career, things he likes, DEFINITELY NO PICK-UP LINES OR JOKES, things like that probably.

Kaya's eyes widened, and she looked around in extreme alarm. This was such a bad idea... She took a deep breath and pulled out a notebook, scribbling down ideas. She was good at writing things, good at memorizing them... she just had to say them. That was the hard part.

Rose is me in basically any social situation

Amorth knocked on the door lightly, shifting his weight to one leg as he smiles and nods to the selected. On silent footsteps, the young (admittingly handsome), guard slid to Kala's side and muttered a polite greeting before going to his post near the other door in the room, his expression plane and bored.

The male swears softly and narrows his eyes at the girl. "Fine, fine." He smiles warmly at them all, giving off a nice, calm vibe as he closes his eyes and lets his face slack into a neutral look.

Silently, Eden kinda just slips into the room with a soft look, rubbing her hands together and allowing Ammon to crawl onto her shoulder and hide in her hair. That was, reassuring, the prince was kind, and obviously nervous, but sweet. It was weird though.

Rose banged her head against the wall a few times, tired already. "Sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep," she muttered, banging her head once more for good measure.

Rose winced and said," Sorry, I'm just super tired."

Abi rushed in, slightly late and took a seat in the back where she hoped she wouldn'tbe noticed.

Kendall sat quietly in the corner paying full attention to what Kala was saying.

Abi contemplated what to say to teh prince. There was just so much to say.

Lazuli stalked in, composed and refined. Her face was an authoritative mask and her calm stride drew every eye in the room. She sat down in a front seat.

Jayden chuckled softly and focused on what he'd say. It was a bit awkward though because he had been close to him many times because of being his butler, but they'd never actually talked much. He was too nervous too anyways most of the time.

Aeris was sitting in an armchair in the corner, his foot tapping idly on the ground, legs crossed. He looked like he was thinking long and hard, when.. in reality, his brain was screaming.

Alena walks in quietly and goes to sit in one of the chairs

Armoth hums to himself, slipping the gloves off his hands and flexing his fingers, standing there idly has he examines his sharpened nails. He sighs, and pulls out a knife to cut them. He did not want to face the wrath of the royals for accidentally paralyzing a selected, No sir.
He sighs and crosses his ankles, fidgeting with the knife after he finished and slipped his gloves back on, brows furrowed as he came up with scenarios in his head.

Snippets of thoughts from other people slip into Alena's mind she grimaces and pushes them away

Aeris watched silently, leaning back in his chair.

Jayden saw the only other boy in the room and waved with a small nervous smile.

The tall male grumbles in response, blinking a few times before stepping onto the mini stage. He unclips his toolbelt, setting the nasty looking weapons down in a chair nearby to ease their tension and put on a warm smile. They'd have to literally look up at him though, he was tall.

Alena watched her gaze a little distant

Aeris waved a little, then turned his head away, rubbing his temple with one hand.

Alena leans closer to the boy next to her (Aeris) "So um what are they doing" she asks him in a whisper

Kaya took a deep breath and walked onto the stage. "Um, hi." She started, smiling weakly. "I'm Kaya. Sphinx." She nodded awkwardly. "I'm, er, I'm an author? I've published a few books, using the pen name Kas Auburn." The female sounded uncertain, but she was doing her best.

Armoth was tempted to slap Kala, his expression morphed into one of playful anguish before he bows polietly. " Hello, Lady kaya." He says in a deep voice, playful almost. "I'm Amorth. Child of Scorpions." he shot Kala a glare. "I'm a royal guard here who is constantly being jabbed at by the royal siblings. I originally came from the sixth caste, but the royals here saw my potential and grabbed me up. A pleasure to meet you" he says softly

He try to be nice and help calm whomever is talking to him, and give them a guide to talk to him. He just introduced himself and gave a bit of info bout himself bc hierv this was not planned-

"Um, well, I like cooking?" Kaya said. "I'm not really good at it yet, but maybe someday." She laughed a little. "What about you?" Yeah, you're failing at this. Her mind told her.

He smiles encouragingly. "Personally? I enjoy tending to the gardens here and with permission of the Queen ." he shoots Kala another look. "Take flowers from the garden and arrange bouquets." He rubs his neck and grins. "Odd I know."

(lets just go with Kaya is up first)

"Um, goodbye!" Kaya said, bowing awkwardly and rushing off the stage.

Alena sighs shaking her head the tiniest bit she felt bad for Kaya

Amroth grins at the pink haired women. They were in the same Caste, so he would find himself in trouble if he were to slip up.
Looking foreword, the male swallows and sighs, shedding his uniform jacket- shit, ya'll should thank whoever designed the guard uniforms because the shirt he wore outlined every muscle in his upper body. Gods he was ripped.
He lifts his chin and smiles, tossing his jacket and hat down with his utility belt.
