Kelly Green Hicks (kelly's bookish world) For the month of October, we will be reading a book featuring a religion other than your own. This should be an interesting month. Looking forward to seeing what everyone chooses to read!

message 2: by Sara (new)

Sara Kreps i'm reading 99 nights in logar, mainly because that's what my book club chose for this month but it takes place in afghanistan and the narrator and his family are muslim.

message 3: by John (new)

John Willis I'm reading "The Prophet" by Khalil Gibran. Gibran's writings may be described as Sufi mysticism. Although he was influenced by Judaism, Islam, and Christianity.

message 4: by Rebekah (new)

Rebekah Gernhard (bekahgern) october is almost over but I'm planning to read Love Thy Neighbor about a Muslim doctor in America.

Kelly Green Hicks (kelly's bookish world) I read this one a couple of months ago. It is very enlightening.

Kelly Green Hicks (kelly's bookish world) I am going to read Dawn by Elie Wiesel in the next couple of days. It's a good thing that it is a short book!
