For the month of October, we will be reading a book featuring a religion other than your own. This should be an interesting month. Looking forward to seeing what everyone chooses to read!

i'm reading 99 nights in logar, mainly because that's what my book club chose for this month but it takes place in afghanistan and the narrator and his family are muslim.
I'm reading "The Prophet" by Khalil Gibran. Gibran's writings may be described as Sufi mysticism. Although he was influenced by Judaism, Islam, and Christianity.
It is awesome when your book club selection lines up with the challenge!Sara wrote: "i'm reading 99 nights in logar, mainly because that's what my book club chose for this month but it takes place in afghanistan and the narrator and his family are muslim."
Sounds like a good read, John!John wrote: "I'm reading "The Prophet" by Khalil Gibran. Gibran's writings may be described as Sufi mysticism. Although he was influenced by Judaism, Islam, and Christianity."
I read this one a couple of months ago. It is very enlightening.Rebekah wrote: "october is almost over but I'm planning to read Love Thy Neighbor about a Muslim doctor in America."
I am going to read Dawn by Elie Wiesel in the next couple of days. It's a good thing that it is a short book!
