yessss, like her death is what truly made Katniss who she is. Like after that moment it hit her this isn't just a game xD

Finnick is one of my favourite!! it really hit me hard :'(
Even Cinna too! I love his friendship with Katniss

same! I read this back in high school xD Idk if I reread I will rate it as high as I did. But I will be rereading it soon because I want to get to The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes

message 7: by Joyce (new)

Joyce | 2030 comments I recently saw Catching Fire the movie and when they were rewatching past victors and discussing how each of them one, the one that hid throughout the whole game....yeah that would be me! xD

message 8: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (jennyh95) Another fab series both books and films, I agree with a comment further up, I really loved finnick and I don’t think he deserved to die 💔

message 9: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S Ikr. I'd have horrible anxiety for the rest of my life. Honestly, characters having PTSD and stuff like that like Katniss after the Hunger games annoys me. But I would be absolutely no different and all it shows how amazing at writing lifelike characters authors like Suzanne Collins can be

Shawna Finnigan (sugoishawn) | 564 comments I LOVE this series. My birthday parties when I was in middle school were always at the opening day screenings of the movies. It was so much fun!

I love the HG, I think that the revolution started with Rue rather than Katniss as Rue made the Mockingjays a thing! She gave them a particular sort of a tune! The revolution started with Rue, Katniss just extended it

And I love Lucy Gray's 'I don't care what the world thinks attitude'

yesss agreed!!! this is actually why Rue is one of my favourite character from the series!! <3

Maggie the Muskoka Library Mouse (mcurry1990) Great books, but I found the last one a little too political for my taste. The movies were lacking in the depth and detail I expected from the novels, however the final installment was my favourite!
