          modern au set in hawaii where nayah and akamu are family friends.
          nayah lives in honolulu and akamu lives in hanapepe, and every
          summer, nayah's family visits akamu's. the two are expected to get
          along, but they never really do until one summer when things feel...
          different. especially when they both end up at the same beach party.

          cue the two of them sitting on the beach, a small campfire in front of
          them as the sun starts to sink into the skyline. they're both watching
          akamu's friends dunk each other in the ocean, but neither gets up to
          join. they just sit and tease each other, and it's not flirting, but they're
          totally flirting. it leads to them both laughing over a joke akamu
          makes, and as their laughs die down, so does the fire, smoldering into
          a dim light that illuminates both their faces. they're both leaning in.

          nayah pulls back. she's blushing, but trying to hide it. insists she's
          heading inside because the fire's dead and it's going to get chilly soon.
          she lightly punches his arm before heading in. akamu stays out late.

          the next morning, their parents note how unusually quiet breakfast is.

(numero uno in my rip list series, which is explained in the first post in this journal :) )

i really loved skye. she was from a supernatural high school rp (the same one lacey's originally from) and was pretty quirky and had light blue hair. in rp, it was because she was a blue weredragon (cuz supernatural, you know), but now i think i'd just make her normal and dye it.

her main hobby was track and field, and... okay, i was waiting so long to make a character that did track. you have no idea. it's just something i wanted (probably because of my crush on nayuki from kanon 2006), so i was so happy i finally got to do it. personality wise, she was really upbeat and confident, but also really stubborn. like, she flat out refused to do hw if she didn't want to. fiercely loyal, a little too much tbh, and impulsive.

that played into her romance a lot, which i'm so sad i didn't get to rp. the guy she would end up with had a lung condition, and, man, i'm a sucker for cute romances with a bit of angst. her standing by him while going through treatment and ahhhhhhhh. im emo. she had a bestie too, and asdkfasdf, yeah, i loved her.

she has a playlist i still add to and a pinterest board i recently made. i love the playlist so much. has a bunch of my all time fave songs. and, uh, maybe one day i might remake her, but idk. it would have to be a high school rp, and those are kinda hard to come by right now. also, OH MY GOD, do you know how hard it is to find fcs with short blue hair? especially cuz i'd want her to be japanese if i remade her and, ahh, it's impossible.
