I have two carryovers from September (and before) that I've stalled on but haven't yet DNF'd.Afterland
The Only Good Indians
They're not bad, just heavy dense reading and right now my attention span can't handle big volumes of that.
So for light quick reading, I broke off-genre and started on Forgotten Island.
Hoping to start The Institute early this week, and next audiobook in the queue is Battle Ground
I really enjoyed Only Good IndiansAlmost done with Hench

After reading The Dragon Waiting by John M. Ford, I decided to go with something seasonal: Night Shift by Stephen King, which I think I last read sometime in the very early 1990s if not before.
Helen wrote: "I’m rereading Ruin of Kings. It’s still brilliant."Oho, that's on my TBR list. Need to bump it up.

Started reading A Dance with Fate, and also listening to the audio of Magic Lessons for a witchy October read

Finished Night Shift and started The Wolf of Oren-Yaro by K.S. Villoso, one of those that's been on my TBR for a while now.
Finished Mexican Gothic the other day. It was entertaining and unexpected.And I've been reading The One and Only Ivan.
I finished Malorie. The sequel wasn't as good as the first, but still worthy of a read.I've now started The Haunting of Tram Car 015.
Finished The One and Only Ivan. Cute, sweet, a bit sad story. I really liked it.And I can put it off no more. I'm starting The Trouble with Peace :D
