When you enter, the smell of crushed coffee beans greets you. You see lines and lines of different breakfast foods and baked goods along the display, and above it, a great variety of drinks both hot and cold. The cafe has comfy booths running along the window, all decorated with soft, colorful pillows.

Emika walked into the cafe and looked around, she had wanted to get some ice cream but thought better of it. So, she went to an empty chair and sat down. She mimicked the cold table and her skin changed to a dull silver color

Emika changed back to herself silver hair and all, she gets a chocolate ice cream and sits back down.

Maddie came in and ordered a latte

Chrystal walked into the cafe and saw Robin and walked over to him, "You did nothing to make yourself look nicer? But then why would I expect you to?" She laughs and kisses his cheek, "I'm going to get a salad. Chrystal walks to get a salad and bumps into some one and a short flash of pain flies through her body, "Ouch."

"Sorry" the girl said, obviosity used to having been the one to always say sorry.

"No, it's fine, I wasn't paying attention." Chrystal looks at the girl and is startled by a realization. "You inflicted pain on me. How?'

Robin scowled at her comment about his looks, but there was a smile on his face. He watched her as Chrystal talked to the unfamiliar girl, similar questions running through his mind.

"Oh, I mimic, my defenses must have gone up, you see if I don't trust someone and they startle me or anything else, I automatically mimic their powers and attack and/or shock them," Emilka looked at the girl She must be popular, she looks like the kind of girl with a rich boyfriend, and all she cares about is her looks. Emika changes to look exactly like the pretty blond girl and speak, "See, I mimic." Her voice is the exact same as Chrystal, then she changes back.

Only able to hear half of the conversation, Robin almost jumped out of his seat when he saw two Chrystals. He blinked, and sure enough, there was his girlfriend and ...his girlfriend? I must be going crazy he thinks to himself, closing his eyes. And when he opens them again, he sees the silver-haired girl. Yep, definitely going crazy, he thinks, accidentally sending the message to Chrystal.

Chrystal turns to Robin and beckons to him, Come here,

Still doubting his sanity, Robin gets up and walks over to Chrystal and the other girl.

"Sorry, I forgot, I'm Chrystal and this is my, uh, boyfriend, Robin." Chrystal smiles. You are not going insane, Robin, she mimics.

"I'm Emika Chan, don't you have a last name?"

Chrystal hesitates, her eyes glistening with angry tears and she stays silent.

Oh, he thinks, that makes a lot more sense.

Sensing that she was uncomfortable, Robin squeezes Chrystal's arm and answers for himself. "No," he says, an easy grin on his face, "It was too much of a pain having to choose whether to get my mom's or dad's after they separated."

(( Oh, that's why he doesn't have a last name, I was wondering.))

Chrystal smiles a bit, "I guess I do, but I don't like to mention it in polite company." Of course if makes sense, if there were two of me you wouldn't know who to date, and if you say you would know, I'll kill you

Well, I really would like to live, he said, trying not to let a smile slip on his face. It really wouldn't make sense to others if he started randomly smiling.

Chrystal huffed Fine tell me who you would date.

Emika was confused, they looked like they were talking but like they were trying to hide it, she shrugged, "Well, why don't you tell people your last name?"

Chrystal looked at her and stayed quiet, "I- I, uh." She was making an ungracful mave and she tried to stop. "I, uh..." she whet quiet.

You, obviously, was his reply.

Robin tried to think of a way to get out of this situation. "Hey, do you wanna have something with us? We came here to get food, and maybe we can show you around after"

But there's two of me. How would you know the first me from the second me? Chrystal asked him confused.

"Uh, no, I know my way around here." Emika said looking at Chrystal. She knew the girl was familiar and then it clicked. "Frost. Chrystal Frost."

Chrystal's flinch was unnoticeable, unless she was in direct contact with someone, and she was, with Robin. "I..."

There maybe two of you, Robin answered, But she can't copy your personality

Robin sucked in a breath when he saw Chrystal flinch from the corner of his eye. This time, instead of just squeezing her arm, he wrapped an arm around her, as a way of comfort.

Chrystal's mind went silent all trace of hummer left her, she leaned into Robin for support, "I'm going to get my salad and go to see my new horse, Starling." She mumered into his ear, she steped out of his grasp got her salad and walked to the stables.

He nodded and turned to Emika, not sure what to say. In the end, he settles with a simple "Sorry, I have to go!" And quickly left, following Chrystal to the stables.

Jacob walks into the cafe with Linda.

Linda walks in behind Jacob, they sit down at a table

He orders himself a chocolate milkshake and waits for Linda to order what she wants.

"Ill get a Chai tea" she asks politly

He sat at the table with her, chatting casually with her.

"So how have you been doing?"

He shrugged, "Been better, been worse" he replied.

"Im so sorry i did what i did" she says looking down at her hands laying on her lap

"Why did you do it though?" He asked softly.

"I had a fight with my parents on the phone...and- and i uh i got mad and i just did it...not thinking about anything else"

His eyebrows furrowed in concern, "That just doesn't happen impulsively, Lin"

"i dont wanna talk about it"

((i gotta go to bed rey! see ya!))

He nodded. Jacob understood that sometimes people just didn't want to share some stuff. He efficiently changed the subject and soon the conversation had shifted to the book series known as Percy Jackson and the Olympians. "I wonder if they really do live on the 500th floor of the Empire State building" he mused

((Bye! Gn Kat!))

" i wonder too!" she smiled at eth fact he changed teh conversation so quicly

"Maybe we can head there during the vacations or something and check it out?" He suggested, grinning.

Jacob honestly couldn't ask her to tell him her secret without seeming liek a hypocrite. After all, he and Amelia were hiding something too.

"That would be epic!" she smiled widely. She felt guilty not telling him her secret, but deep down, she knew it was better if nobody knew

Jacob smiled back at her as they continued to converse with each other.

After they were done with their respective drinks he stood up and went to pay for them before he stood at the doorway, waiting for her.

She walked over to him as they left the cafe
