Mark | 1 comments Hello, all.

My name is Mark W. McCann and I have co-written three feature films and one novel. My novel is called WORLD WAR 2.1 and is about a kid who gets tossed back to 1944. Here’s the gist:

18-year-old Scott Breckinridge just wants to be left alone to play combat games on his computer and rack up kills. His plans are altered, however, when his great-grandfather has to move in due to failing health. Appalled by Scott’s graphic games, he voices his extreme disapproval:

“War isn’t a game...”

He should know, he saw the horrors of battle firsthand as a young paratrooper in World War II. Scott only dismisses the bothersome old man, until he discovers a forgotten Nazi relic among his old war memorabilia. Tinkering with it, he is horrified to find himself transported back to 1944—right at the beginning of D-Day. There he learns the true nature of war by not only having to fight to survive, but to try and win the war after accidentally giving the Germans the keys to victory.

Thank you!

Walter Danley (walterdanley) | 1 comments Hello Everyone! I am Walter Danley a four-decade veteran of the investment industry, and I now write suspense thriller novels instead of living the experience every day. I live in the Texas Hill Country, where I work on suspense thriller series, A Wainwright Mystery, and other standalone novels. I usually write from my library office overlooking the Cibolo Creek.

I also wrote Blasted Past and I hope you can enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it.

When your THEN becomes NOW, you have a Blasted Past. A time-Traveler's Tale of the Old West.
Jim Nagle who has more problems than any 54-year old investment executive can handle. His ex-wife has her lawyers threatening him, his estranged son is in jail, and the California State Franchise Board is chasing him for back taxes. The topper is his business has grown so fast he is mismanaging it. It just seems he can't get a break.
Then, in less time than a single heartbeat, his life is changed forever. A freak accident thrust Nagle back 145 years into history.
After ruling out a bad dream or delusions, Jim begins to realize he has, in fact, been transported back in time and is now standing on the dusty street of a small town called Boerne in post-Civil War Texas.

This story will ENTERTAIN, and ENGAGE you, but at the same time you will be ENLIGHTENED by Blasted Past. Watch the Book Trailer here.
