I used to love her before I came across her Transphobic comments and I started hating her! Though it does not stop me from from loving the Wizarding World

Yeah, I definetely don’t agree with what she’s doing, but I still admire her work, and the Harry Potter books will always have meaning to me.

I love Harry Potter, and that has nothing to do with my views on JKR, who is transphobic and no longer someone I look up to.

Agreed. I understand that people will always love HP, but I don't think I can anymore. I didn't really enjoy HP the first time I read it, and I don't particularly care about it anymore. I don't want to read books like this with no diversity. It may be different for others, though. This is just my opinion.

I don't think she is really transphobic. I mean, I read her tweets and there is really nothing very offensive, I'm confused, maybe my information is faulty, but it seems to me that it she's not attacking anyone, it's the news headlines that making a massive fuss about it and making it sound like she's transphobic.
I'm no expert, I'm not defending what she did, I'm sorry if I offen anyone, this is just my personal opinion.
My mum thinks she might be doing it to draw attention from the press, but I'm not sure about it.

Neither does anyone, as far as I know! It's just the headlines we see that screams about it, what did she actually SAY? Where's the proof, or evidence? I hope I'm not sounding like a troll or mean, I just want to know what's really going on... :(

You’re kinda right on some aspects. If we took all her tweets out of context they wouldn’t be incredibly transphobic but combined they are transphobic. Firstly, she’s misgendered many trans people, also she wrote a whole essay about how trans women are actually predatory me in dresses who want to get into women’s washrooms. Not to mention that she compared transitioning to gay conversion therapy. Most recently, her new book includes a cross dressing male serial killer who dresses up as a woman to kill woman. And last but not least she promoted a company that sells merch that is incredibly transphobic. They sells pins that say things like “F*ck your pronouns “ or “trans women are men” and so on.

I've seen a couple of her tweets that are super transphobic but I had no idea that she did that stuff. Jesus.
