yes, it's the sequel. i'm liking it so far, but not as much as the first one :/ idk why is that, i simply was more invested in the plot of the first book
That sucks when a sequel doesn’t live up to the first book, and sadly it happens a lot of times. I’ve been wanting to read Blood and Honey for a while, especially since I really enjoyed Serpent & Dove, but I guess if I do I won’t go in with too high expectations.
I’ve finished reading Six of Crows, and I highly enjoyed it! Now I’m reading Crooked Kingdom, which will hopefully be as enjoyable!
i haven't really been in the best place lately, so i haven't really managed to read anything sadly :/

Yay!! I'm going to get to that too
Yay!! I'm going to get to that too
I’m currently reading Love & Gelato, which is good so far! I ended up really enjoying the Six of Crows duology, and I might consider rereading it in the future! :)
i'm still in the middle of blood & honey, and i also started lair or dreams by libba bray yesterday which i am really liking so far
i really want to reread soc too sometime in the future. i've read it last year for the first time and i loved it.
Yeah, I can’t believe I never bothered picking SoC up before, and it turned out way better than I expected. Hopefully the Netflix adaption will turn out good as well.
i don't really expect the adaptation to follow the books that much, but i still hope that it's good!
omg, i cannot believe this happened to me lol. today, our english teahcer literally gave us something to work on an episode of friends. this was such a cool class lol
Hey everyone! Sorry for the late checking. Life has been killer lately; being an adult just sucks sometimes. Anyway, I'm in the middle of a few books - Red Hood by Elena Arnold being my favorite. Also, I'm totally new to this group and the reading challenges so it will take me minute to get all caught up on what I'm supposed to be doing. Can't wait to see what you are all reading! I personally loved Six of Crows. I work at a library and it is one of my go to recommendations in my teen room. I think it has something for everyone.

I can only find that they are "the same as last month" but nothing that explains them out.
I found the keywords and I get that gives extra points, as well that if you do a buddy read you get more points. I'm assuming all books have to be YA and points are assigned by page length. Is there requirements for the review?

All rules are in the first message on this thread: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
You can read any book you want....and review rules are that there have to be some details in your review, so we know you read the book.

i am still reading blood and honey and the amber spyglass. and i also started and i am close to the end of lair of dreams by libba bray. hopefully i finish it today.
I’ve started reading A Darker Shade of Magic, and I’m really enjoying it so far! I’m finding the concept of parallel Londons to be quite interesting!
Yes, the author’s writing and world-building is really good! I’ve also read This Savage Song, which I enjoyed, and I’m hoping to try some of her other books too!
i've read every book by ve schwab, except the near witch and addie larue. and i loved all her works, there's just something about the way she writes, the way she builds her worlds, that it makes me love her books so much.
vicious. as much as i love a darker shade of magic, i love vicious even more. the characters are so interesting, the magic system is so unique and cool.
Ooh, I’ll have to bump it up my TBR list, it sounds really good! Lol, I spent the first half of this month mostly reading books by Leigh Bardugo, and now I’m slowly getting into V.E. Schwab’s books. October is turning out to be a good reading month for me, and I’ve been introduced to a few new series I regret not reading earlier.
I'm so glad that I happened upon this group. I've found myself in a bit of a dry spell when it comes to reading. I have a TON of books checked out from my library but I just couldn't get myself to read. But joining the challenge has pushed me to pick up some of the books and start reading again.
