Cooper | 62 comments I read this trilogy a little while ago, after I watched Solo. Has anyone else read this trilogy, and if so, what did you think of it?

Not yet. Should I? They don't fit with Solo timeline.

Cooper | 62 comments I really enjoyed the trilogy. You're right it's sort of Legends version of Solo: a Star Wars Story. I personally enjoyed Solo more, but this was a really good trilogy if you want an entertaining Han Solo story that spans a few years.

Then I might read it later. Good to know that it is not as bad as CoPL. I can give a good rating to Jedi Academy, but The Courtship of Princess Leia got 2 stars from a generous reviewer.

Cooper | 62 comments What made the Courtship of Princess Leia so bad?

You should read this book for timeline reason and to meet the Hapans. You will need to learn about them to understand them in future books.

Side note: is it a good idea to make out while someone HAS A BOMB STRAPPED TO THEM? Because it seems like a FUNDAMENTALLY FLAWED course of action.

Cooper | 62 comments Hmm. Sorry you didn't like it. I'll probably read it eventually, who knows if I'll like it or not. The Han Solo Trilogy is by no means essential but it was a fun read, especially for a big Han Solo fan like me. It does show how Boba Fett first met Han Solo, and gives a little background on Jabba's earlier years. Some cool little details like that.
