Hmm, so I thought I'd only manage 5 books in German or translated from German this year, then stretched to 10, ;and now here I am having read book #11: Allmen and the Pink Diamond by Swiss writer Martin Suter. The other 10 books are listed under Level 1 & 2.

Recently finished #12 Geburtsort Berlin by Monika Maron. Read auf Deutsch. It was an ok read. I think someone with a more intimate knowledge of Berlin would have appreciated it more.
#13 book was Yes by the Austrian author Thomas Bernhard. Very well written, but very dark. I started reading it in German then switched to English.
#14 was Die Magie der Namen by Nicole Gozdek. Young adult fantasy. Entertaining but ending was disappointing. All resolved too neatly. Read in German, with occasional looking up of words.
