I heard of them sounds dumb to me. In the end the girl falls for bothe of the guys and they share her blood or something like that...
I've been watching the show too. I think the actor that plays Stephan would have been a good Edward.
lol, I'm not the only one that thinks that? I like him better that Robert Pattinson. He's not as...weird.

Whoa, it was a lot of info to digest. And a big twist, with Katherine. Has anybody else noticed that all the adults have an evil aura about them? Except the aunt; she's a little more normal.
totally, well that may be because they're all trying to kill the two hottie vampire brothers. Lol, I agree. And totaly best episode ever!
i haven't read the books yet, although i do have the first two sitting aside. i love the show though! i LOVED the last episode, it was so sad and leaves so many possibilities for next week's episode!! :)
I havent read the books yet but Im totatly into the series and I have a crush on Damien I know he is mean and all that but it is just something about that bad boy attitude its just hot and his wicked sense of humor tops it all :)

@Daine: I so agree with you. There's just something so irresistible about bad boys with evil intentions. Good guys are all sweet and everything, but they get a little boring and typical after a while. Villains, on the other hand, never get old, because there's no limit to how evil you can get. XD Do you think Bonnie and Damen would suit? I really think they should get together soon (I haven't read "The Return" yet, so I dunno what happens later on, and please don't spoil it for me. 8D).

I read the books first and now I have trouble trying to watch the tv series. I tried but Elena is just all wrong on the show. Plus, Stefan doesn't look anything like I imagined and they combined two of Elena's friends into one character. I guess if I wouldn't have read the books first then I might have been okay with the show. Damien is the only one that I think they got right. He is H-O-T!

lol, yeah that's probably a good idea! i've noticed that shows that are adapted from books wander off from the book plotline, and sometimes that disappoints me. lol, like i dunno if you've heard of the series Gossip Girl by Cecily von Ziegesar, but that's a TV series as well, and it's sooo different from the books now! It's crazy. lol

I can usually deal with changes but the thing that irks me the most with the Vampire Diaries is Elena's character. In the books she has blond hair and blue eyes but in the show she has brown hair and brown eyes. I mean c'mon...they couldn't die her hair and have her wear contacts. It just kind of peeves me that the look of the main female character is way different.

Really? I though Elena was gorgeous, but the actors for Damen and Stefan weren't too impressive. But then again, I've only seen posters and clips of the show, so I can't say anything for sure, just my first impression on the guys. :3

lol, I joined I think maybe couple of weeks ago and I didnt how to post at first and then I was having computer issues and now that I figure out the site and the computer is fixed Im addicted :)
the books are good, but the last book out is very sad, and i even started not liking elena in the books, im waiting for the next book to come out. I hope she makes up her mind who she wants to be with :)Shadow Souls,

Yeah, the first 2 books in The Vampire Diaries and the last 2 are combined into 2 volumes. The Return ones are individual books.

Ok, so in the last episode, when Stephan is upset and Elena is trying to get him to tlak to her, he says that Damon killed Zack, Tanner, and turned Vicki. Who is Tanner?
