She left home to the grocery store without a dog and came back with a dog. She comes home with it because the manager of the store she went to was complaining about it. The manager was gonna call the pound but she begged him not to. She automatically knew she loved that dog. She walks home to show her dad and she is thinking of what he might think of the dog. She hopes he will let her keep the ugly mut.
