Lena (mrs_right) Hi! :D I'd like to ask if there's a character in your books that you're especially fond of, and if so - why? :)
Also, how do you spend your free time, when you're not writing? What brings you joy in every day life and gives you energy to start writing again?

Hey, Lena!
Great questions. If my back was against the wall and you made me choose just one character I'd have to say, Dalton from Present Perfect. He's not one of the main characters, and appears only in a section of the book.

The reason I'm so fond of him is because he was a great mix of a sweet, flirty, and a little bit of a bad boy. He also came out of nowhere. When I first started writing the "character" it was a 12-year-old girl, and not a 20-year-old dude. Not to get all hippy-dippy, but Dalton was such an organic character. He appeared to me via the universe and I wrote him in the book. His dialogue and thoughts flowed so easily out of me.

In my spare time I read (of course). I also love watching documentaries, sitcoms, and movies. I have two Shih tzu puppies, Charlie (3yr) and Baxter (2yr) who keep me busy, and are the joys of my life.

Hey, Nicole!
My current work in progress is titled Evie Interrupted. It's about a young woman in her late twenties who is put in a situation with her family that she has no control over. Her fiancé ends their relationship because he can't deal with the situation. Then she meets Butler Thompson. Even though she knows nothing can come of them, she can't stop being drawn to him.

WARNING: It's gonna induce an ugly cry. LOL!

Thank you for replying! <3
I haven't read Present Perfect yet but the words you used to describe Dalton made me want to find that book and read it asap! I love characters like that and my favorite books often feature someone fitting those characteristics. So... Any plans for giving Dalton his own book, maybe...? ;)
And Evie Interrupted sounds just like my cup of tea! Can't wait till it comes out! <3

Hey, Katherine,
I love to read new adult, young adult, rom-coms, women's fiction, and contemporary romance. Lately, I've gotten interested in romantic suspense. My favorite genre to right in would have to be new adult, contemporary romance, and rom-coms. great question.

The character that speaks to me the most in my books would have to be the heroine. Each of them possesses a quality or characteristic that's mine. So, while I can't say there's one heroine that's totally me, all of them are a part of me. Great question. Thank you.
