Kevin Dawson’s been kicked out of his girlfriend’s home again for cheating. That didn’t last long. Surprised (for those who read First Blood)?

No real surprises there! lol But he appeared to have turned over a new leaf by the end of First Blood.

Kevin Dawson is an interesting character, his personal life seems to be a mess but he is a loyal and intrinsic member of Kim's team so he does have his good points. I guess a messy personal life doesn't necessarily mean he isn't a person who can contribute in other ways. Some people aren't made to be monogamous it seems.

Kevin seems to deal with stress in his life by finding someone to have a fling with. I guess he can justify a one-night stand in him mind.

I do like his character and the way he surprises me with his contributions to the team.

Kevin still has a lot of growing up to do. I really thought he’d at least make it through the pregnancy. At least he wants to get back with her.

But, I’m not surprised😏

Like Lisa said, Dawson's messy personal life doesn't seem to impact is effectiveness with the team.
He seems to have a different way of looking at the facts which makes him a valued member of the team.

Good observation Jo Ann. Dawson does look at the facts differently. He gives the team a different perspective.

I'm surprised a little just because at the end of First Blood, he seemed to have genuine feelings for his girlfriend and wanted to make a go of it, but I agree with Lisa about a leopard not changing its spots.

I also thought he really wanted to get back with his girlfriend at the end of First Blood. I'm surprised he messed it up so quickly. The book didn't say when the cheating happened. Could it have been the woman he spent the night with in First Blood? Maybe his girlfriend just found out about it.

It was stag night right before his baby was born so it was months later. I “assumed” it was the night before he was supposed to get married.

I don't think it was the same woman. This book was written before First Blood. Kevin is immature and has commitment issues. I believe he loves his girlfriend, but he is one of those men who can't resist temptation.

I hope he grows up or at least turns out to be a good dad. I like him even though cheaters usually turn me off.
