After the discovery of the second body, what theories were starting to form for you? How close did you come to the actual circumstances?

I was off. I thought one of the original conspirators were killing the others because someone was talking. I was sure Beth was the killer for a short time.

No way did I get the two killer scenario. It was cleverly put together. I think I may have given Wilkes a thought earlier on but I didn't form a solid theory at all.

But the Beth/Nicola thing didn't even enter the realms of possibility and I had to read it a few times to make sure I got it straight.

So, just to clarify, did Wilks lead the others to think that William was actually the killer and they didn't want that disclosed for their own selfish reasons? So when Beth overheard them, Wilks then killed her to supposedly protect their conspiracy?

I wanted to check Wilks actions last night and forgot. I need to do that today.

Lisa, Wilks led them to believe that William was responsible for the disappearance of Louise and Melissa because of what they’d done to his daughter, Lucy. However, they knew Wilks killed Beth.

When the second body was discovered, I knew someone was after “the group,” whomever they were. I didn’t think it was someone in the group but never thought of Nicola/Beth...maybe another girl who’d attended the school or someone sitting in judgment of them.

Thanks Jonetta. That's what I assumed. Wilks must have been pretty smooth for them to believe that of William although they probably just wanted for it all to go away and not affect them for their own selfish reasons so they didn't ask too many questions.

I figured out the two twists about the same time. Wilks became my #1 suspect during the killer's recitation of Tracy's murder. Both Melanie and Tracy freely gave information to him and only a pastor would be someone they would trust to that extent.

Wilks being a pastor gave him easy entry and credibility. People let their guards down. He had the perfect cover as a predator.

Good point. That went right by me.

I was having a hard time keeping the old murder of the three girls and the new murders of the workers from the group home straight in my head. I was trying to make it one killer for everyone. Wilks was on my suspect list along with Beth, but I never thought about the possibility of their being two killers.

Robin I'm with you. I was trying to make it one killer and connected to the old deaths.
