This book starts out in a very odd, yet compelling fashion. I want to learn more about the Noise and what happened to half the men and all the women. The spelling and grammar- vernacular?- of the main character takes a bit of getting used to. I’m only about ¼ of the way done, but so far I’m enjoying this book.
I suspected Todd was uninformed of what had really happened, but I didn’t expect THAT! What a crazy good book so far! I’m anxious to see the movie when it comes out. Does anyone else have any comments on Todd’s travels? I’ve read Chapters 1-19, and the journey so far takes my breath away. I am also planning to read the prequel, as well as Books 2&3 of this Chaos Walking series.
i read this series in 2017 and it's fantastic. it gets better in the second and third books. never read the prequel though so maybe i'll give it a chance. i hope you enjoy it!
Thanks, ximena. So far it's a terrific book! The prequel is available on Amazon kindle, and it's free. Probably because it is only 36 pages. It's called The New World by Patrick Ness.
I almost can't believe how this book progressed-they faced so many obstacles. And what a surprising ending! I can't wait to read the next book in the series!
