A knock came from the door, followed by the beeping of a security tag unlocking the door. Amanda-Cali’s supervisor-walked in. “Wacky wacky sleeping beauty. Time to rise and shine.”

She stretched with a yawn ¨five more minutes...¨" she opened her eyes slightly

“No, you have to get up now. You don’t want to miss breakfast, do you?” She arched a brow at the girl.

¨no..¨ she sat up ¨so your my new supervisor?¨

The woman smiled, “yep. My name’s Amanda.” She walked to the bed and held out her hand, offering a hand shake.

¨Cali¨ she smiled sweetly shaking her hand

“It’s nice to meet you. I’ll step out so you can get ready for the day.”

¨ok thank you¨ she watches her leave and gets dressed walking out brushing her hair

When Cali came out of the room, Amanda offered a smile, “ready to walk to the caf?”

¨yea¨ i smiled softly thinking about when i might be free from this place

Amanda walked with the girl. “So, what are you thinking of eating? Eggs? Fruit? Toast?”

¨ to be honest..i might just eat a toast¨ i looked around at all the new female supervisors

She nodded, “not very hungry?” She inquired. Amanda glanced around the room too. “How old are you?” Amanda already knew—she’d read the girl’s file—but it was good to make conversation.

¨15 and the food here isn't half as good as they say it is¨ she seemed like a nice supervisor maybe they could become friends overtime..

Amanda nodded, “I don’t doubt it. I haven’t tried any myself.”

¨i think we should be able to make our own food every once and a while* i looked Amanda's face over she didn't seem like the type of mean supervisor we normally had and i smiled

“Considering how many of you there are, I’m not surprised that they don’t let you all cook your own meals. It’s probably cheaper to have a few people in a kitchen make a bunch of one meal,” Amanda shrugged.

¨true but why do they need so many of us? i mean having like 12 of us would be good enough¨ Cali questioned a lot of things but she questioned this the most

“More girls means more babies. More babies means more of the population is increasing,” Amanda shrugged. It was the only answer she had ever been given.

¨babies cry too much..¨ she wrinkled her nose at the thought of babies ¨shouldn't we be heading to the cafeteria?¨

She nodded, “you’re right.” They continued their walk.

¨i wonder if the guy with jelly donuts is here today.¨she hummed a soft tune as they walked

They entered the caf and Amanda joined the other supervisors along the wall. She kept an eye on Cali.

she looked around the room and make a quick dart to a table with doughnuts

Amanda smiled in amusement. Donuts for breakfast?

One of the other girls got to the donuts right after Cali. “Yay! Donuts!”

she takes a donut and brings it over to Amanda. ¨you should eat too¨

((sorry to interrupt but but this is so interesting to read))

Amanda smiles lightly, “thank you, but I’ll eat later. Promise.”

¨ok!¨ she walks back to the table eating her donut and talking to the other breeders

((gosh calling a women a breeder would hurt me and i am a guy it sounds so insulting))

A girl with a tray filled with fruited walked over and sat across from Cali. “Hey. I’m Kim.”

¨im Cali!¨ she smiled

The girl tilted her head, “what kind of donut did you get?”

¨blueberry, what about you if you got one at least¨

She shook her head, “I don’t eat junk for breakfast.” The girl popped a berry in her mouth.

"oh ok well it was nice to meet you!" she smiled again

The girl nodded slowly, “how many men have visited you?” She asked, taking note of every detail of Cali’s appearance.

"none yet why?" she was curious about why this girl wanted to know about her
