I'm going to expand this one to take place in our home state because those of us who live in a small town will have some problems finding books that take place in the town we grew up in.

Mary Sue I couldn't find a book that takes place in my hometown, but I did find one set in a town about 30 miles away and my hometown is mentioned in it several times. I read Crimes Against My Brother by David Adams Richards by David Adams Richards.
