Sue Balcom (suebb) | 9 comments I am a little nervous about putting this out there, but I feel kinda stuck on where to go with chapter four in my Coursera class. Is there some way to post the first three chapters for some comments. It would make more sense as a whole rather than separate chapters. Would a google doc work? Thank you, i appreciate your assistance.

Eleanor | 82 comments I think posting a link to your google doc would be fine. Others have done it and it does make the reading experience smoother.

Arlu Bautista | 90 comments Hi Sue, you can post your chapters here. Though, I prefer separated documents per chapter to not overwhelm the reviewer as well as to segregate the comments/feedback per chapter.

And I feel you. I've been stuck with my chapters too but after outlining it, chapter by chapter, I kind of felt relieved. There's this sense of direction when you get a good outline, and I highly recommend this to you. I'm not saying you won't get stuck anymore but it relieved some of the pressure.

I hope this help you. Good luck and keep writing.

Sue Balcom (suebb) | 9 comments Thank you all, sometimes walking away makes a big difference. I would appreciate any and all assistance... so I will post the links from the coursera later today, I hope. Its a work day, darn, always getting in the way of the fun things...

Andres Rodriguez (aroddamonster) | 619 comments Actually, I would myself prefer to read through a few chapters than to review an individual chapter. I feel that I miss a lot of information coming into the chapter and, for example with ML, what my gripe was with his 1st chapter it ended up being beautifully explained in the next two paragraphs completely eliminating my one complaint. I feel as a pre-reader you can also get a bit more emotionally attached to characters by reading a few chapters at a time.

Please feel free to write until you hit a great milestone and then get reviews from the GODS and then submit those chapters into coursera later on.

Sue Balcom (suebb) | 9 comments Okay, its been a terrible couple of weeks and i lost 3 Tbytes of data on an external hard drive. I'm heartbroken. Luckily my work here which I consider to be learning to be disaplined at writing was on my laptop.
I am posting my first five chapters through coursera, PLEASE NOTE: I have taken under advisement the comments from the reviews and reworked and massaged the details a bit. Just so you know. And, thank you for your input. I didn't think I could do this.

Liavali | 237 comments Hi Sue, I just reviewed your first chapter, I am randomly reviewing a chapter here and there as I can, hope to manage more at some point! I left review on coursera.

It is a great story!

Sue Balcom (suebb) | 9 comments Thank you, I'm trying to keep tying it together I know where its supposed to go, but getting there means not so much work, like this election week was HELL. And a little more thinking... this is more difficult than one would think, however, the words come rushing out and I cannot wait to edit the first 7 chapters... I have an editor friend that I think will be willing to read it all at once. I'm pretty excited because I have a head full of book ideas and once I am back writing every morning, I might be able to clear my head. LOL> thank you.

Thank you for the detailed review. I have not done any editing. I will when I can do chapter 1-7. I sometimes lost the timeline. So your comments are very helpful.
