What did you think about this series? Was it better or worse than The Hunger Games?

Let me sit down...I don't know anything about the hunger games (books) but the movies, which I've only seen parts of, bored me a lot, and I don't think it looks like Divergent.
On the other hand, Divergent is the best series in the entire world! They were the books that started it all for me, so I LOVE them ❤️
THG is definitely better. I loved Divergent, but the next two were just ugh. They were not fun to read and I’m not sure how I got through them all
THG is waaay better.Divergent has poor world building, a very disappointing ending, and too many inconsistent plot points and plot holes
So I actually never finished the Divergent series xD As I was halfway through Allegiant, my friend spoiled the ending....I got annoyed that I put it down and said I was going to pick it back up but I just never did :P
I remember loving the first two! But idk if I reread them if I'd still feel the same...
I personally prefer the hunger games more :) and out of curiosity have any of you seen the movie for Divergent?
My friend is trying to force me to watch the movies. She's the one who wanted me to read The Lunar Chronicles and Divergent. But I've only seen clips.
This is one of the best series I have ever read. I fell in love with the first book and the second book had PTSD representation in it that I related to. Tris helped me find the strength to keep living when I started struggling with flashbacks
Joyce wrote: "I haven't seen the movies...but I might get to it after finishing the series :)"Just a warning though... the movies are nothing like the books
