Everyone sure got separated quickly at the start of this book. It is sad that the group is now divided :( I do like getting more first-person perspective of Lemon, and Cricket is alright, but I really want to know what is going on with Eve. (hide spoiler)]

Interesting that the Preacher is being made more into a character instead of just the bad guy pursuing the team. Eve's personality has totally changed and not in the good way. I don't really like her anymore. She is clearly going through an identity crisis and becoming a rather evil person. There will be no redemption if she actually gets her way and kills Ana. Aw that is so sweet that Lemon found her grandfather. I am glad that she was able to get some answers about her family after all of this time. There is still the big question, though, which is WHY did Lillian leave Lemon behind? I hope that eventually gets answered! (hide spoiler)]

I had a feeling that the major was lying or going to use Lemon for his own selfish use, and I was unfortunately right. I hate that he manipulated and used the "deviates". He also lied about being Lemon's grandfather, which was so mean :( Even worse, he actually hates deviates! At least Lemon was able to quickly stop him. (hide spoiler)]

I love that Jay Kristoff gives us a reminder of who is who and what happened in the books before this one (even though I have really good memories of the first two books which is rare for me ^^). More authors should do this, it would really help.

Finished - (view spoiler)[I understand why the sudden change of Eve at the end bothered some readers but I knew it was going to happen and I didn't mind all that much. Eve & Ezekiel weren't my favorite characters though and their romance wasn't very convincing to me as Ana was always kind of there between them. (hide spoiler)]

Woo! I finally read this finale and I really liked this series overall :)

I feel so bad for Lemon! Evie is going on this murdering rampage because she doesn't want to be like Ana. However, Ana doesn't know Lemon, so even if the "real" one woke up, Lemon is Evie's friend, not Ana. Of course right now she thinks all of her friends are dead, which is probably worse.
In addition, I am actually totally down if Preacher ends up joining Ezekiel and that group (I have a feeling that is the direction the book is taking). I like how in the last book Preacher was given more of a role and we got to know him better instead of just being the bad guy who was chasing Eve. I think he is a pretty decent character now and will be glad if he joins the good side. (hide spoiler)]

Lemon's story has definitely gotten more interesting! I can't believe BioMass claimed they wouldn't produce clones without Lemon's permission, but then did it anyway when she refused. I would be angry too! What is with all of these corrupt giant corporations?
Also, pretty disappointed that Preacher still tried to backstab Ezekiel and Faith. He just doesn't learn! (hide spoiler)]

I really thought that was going to be the moment that Eve changed sides. I am still holding out hope that she choose what is right. I mean, her relationship with Lemon clearly still means something to her even though she is trying to pretend it doesn't. I can't believe she supports Gabriel and his desire to destroy all human life. Also, now that the nanobots have been released (by Solomon of all robots!) how are our heroes going to stop this?? I am glad that Eve finally realized she was wrong and chose her friends again. I ended up not liking her, though. She was a great character in the first book, but then when she so easily threw away everything she had just because she found out she was a Lifelike just made me not like her. The opposite happened with Lemon. I thought she was meh in the first book, but she was definitely my favorite character in this. Second was Cricket! (hide spoiler)]

I agree Marissa (view spoiler)[about Eve and Lemon, in the first book I loved Eve and didn't care much Lemon but it changed for both of them. Cricket I loved from the beginning but I didn't really find the Cricket I remembered in the third book. (hide spoiler)]
