What did you think of Sophia and Derek? And their importance of them in the novel?

There role was a bit elusive until I started figuring out that Sophia was the target. Took me a bit to figure out she was Catherine's daughter. About the umpteenth time when it was mentioned she has gray eyes...duh!

I thought at first Derek was the target but they were using Sophia to get to him. I didn't cousin the eyes at first either, Jonetta lol.
