Brave (bravereads) | 112 comments After a lackluster reading year (though it started strong!), I'm hoping to knock some major want-to-reads off of my TBR in 2021.

2021 Goals:
Continuing from 2020, this will be "the year of books I've been 'saving' for whatever silly reason or other"

1. A Tale for the Time Being
2. The Gracekeepers
3. The Clay Girl
4. Rabbit Cake
5. The Lightkeepers
6. Two Rivers
7. Idaho
8. The Hate U Give
9. The Book of Strange New Things
10. The Night Circus
11. Vox
12. Red Clocks

Other loose goals:
- Read more from authors I've read before
- Read the Binti trilogy
- Finish the Throne of Glass series

Brave (bravereads) | 112 comments Planning my reads for April helped a LOT with getting me back on track with my reading. So here's my post with planned May reads, though most of my May reads will be selected by someone else, so I have lower hopes for this list, haha!

Brave (bravereads) | 112 comments 27. The Heart's Invisible Furies by John Boyne

Unhauling this from my TBR. I don't often get rid of books without having at least attempted them, but I'm just not impressed with this author's views. I don't think I can separate out my feelings enough to read the book, and I have no other experience with the author that might make it "easier" to separate art and artist.

Brave (bravereads) | 112 comments 28. The Complete Chi's Sweet Home, Part 1 by Kanata Konami

Brave (bravereads) | 112 comments June 2021 Plans:

I really need to get through some shorter stuff on my TBR pile. I tend to leave that stuff sitting there way longer than one would assume, because I think, "Oh, I can knock that out any old time..." But then, of course, I never do. Here is a far too ambitious list of things I hope to get off the pile:

The TBR:
Half Wild Stories by Robin MacArthur The Castle of Otranto by Horace Walpole Tin Man by Sarah Winman Brand New Ancients by Kate Tempest Every Heart a Doorway (Wayward Children #1) by Seanan McGuire The Beautiful Ones by Silvia Moreno-Garcia The Van Apfel Girls Are Gone by Felicity McLean In a Dark, Dark Wood by Ruth Ware A Song Below Water (A Song Below Water, #1) by Bethany C. Morrow Red Clocks by Leni Zumas The Deep by Rivers Solomon Letters to a Young Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke Why I Wake Early by Mary Oliver The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo Upstream Selected Essays by Mary Oliver Stargirl (Stargirl, #1) by Jerry Spinelli I Am, I Am, I Am Seventeen Brushes with Death by Maggie O'Farrell

READ from the TBR:
Heart Talk Poetic Wisdom for a Better Life by Cleo Wade Rest in the Mourning by R.H. Sin Brute Poems by Emily Skaja Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston A House at the Bottom of a Lake by Josh Malerman

Going to be unhauling my copy once I'm back home. Thankfully, the library had an ebook I could read on the go! A disappointment, imo.
