I love this series, especially the enemies-to-lovers romance! :D
i read the first book and loved it!
Now that I know this is enemies-to-lovers I have to check it out..
i love these books! i pre-ordered “how the king of elfhame learned to hate stories” and i am SO EXCITED😆 Cardan is definitely one of my top book boyfriends☺️
Oof. I wanted to love this so much, and maybe my expectations were too high, but I hated it

I just finished this series! I liked it overall, but I think my opinions are unpopular in that I thought QoN was the one I liked the least (I still have it 4.5) and then Cruel Prince and Wicked King are tied for my favorite.
I guess I am not gonna share my thoughts or Sofia is gonna bring her pitchfork again. Lol.

What was your guys fav out of the three of them and why. My favorite personallly is queen of nothing but i also see people that think that that is their least fav. I love it the most because of how everything cames togehter all the betrayel etc. And i loved the rode the romance took in this one and i just flew trough it and it didnt felt dragged so thats why i enjoyed it the most.
I feel like the wicked king is also definitly a good one but it did drag a bit sometimes for me plot wise.

I mostly felt as if QoN was so rushed. The book was also quite short for one, so I may or may not have been a bit annoyed at that.

I love it the most because of how..."Same. I'm going to reread TWK and TQON soon-ish (TQON is the only one in the series that I own, but hopefully that'll change after Christmas). Honestly I really love the entire series, and I've been trying to work through the rest of Holly Black's faerie books. So far I've only read The Darkest Part of the Forest, but I got super excited when I caught the reference to Severin and Ben in TCP.
I feel like I'm definitely in the minority with this, but I don't hate Taryn, I actually really like her. I think she's super interesting. Jude is still my favorite though.

She's definitely an interesting character.

Jude doesn't fall for Cardan because he's an abusive bad boy.
She takes him out of the abusive situation and he becomes nicer, then she falls for him.
An interestingly annoying character that you probably die, yes.🤭
