i am so excited to finally get to this.

i just started the book and i've read around 30 pages. when do you guys think you'll get your copies?

finished part 1
(view spoiler)[ i am liking the book so far and it was interesting how the book alternates between the present (2014) and addie's chilhood (1700s). i really like addie as a character and god i really relate with the part of being afraid of dying, being afraid that time passes to fast. it was also interesting to see how the curse worked. i knew going into the book that everyone who sees her forgets her the moment after, and no one remembers her, but there's so much to that, the curse has so many more consequences and i am already heartbroken. also i feel like i made a good desicion going into this book without knowing a lot about it. (view spoiler)[ i found the meeting between addie and henry quite interesting and i'm excited for more scenes of them together. i wonder why can henry remember her, could luc have something to do with it (he must, since i don't seen any other explanation and he wants to make addie's life a hell so he can have her soul.). i feel so heartbroken for addie and i am terrified that by the end of the book i'll be sobbing.

(view spoiler)[ i like how at the beginning of each part we get some kind of art made by people. even tho we are not confirmed this i am pretty sure these must be were addie left her mark (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ what does henry mean with 'i made one too'?! is he connected with luc too?! oh my god, this story is not going in the way i was expecting. i really like how we learn more about addie's backstory and what she has been doing between 1700s and 2014. also i really wanna punch luc, i wish he could just leave addie alone, but alas that is not going to happen :/ (hide spoiler)]

i just finished this book and i am really not okay. i didn't plan to finish it today. i just sat down and started reading it and suddenly i am done. i read the last 300 pages in one sitting.

nicole, have you received your copy? i'll say more of my thoughts when you guys finsih the book too, but, mostly, the reason to that is that at the moment I cannot form any coherent thought about this book. this book was so good and everything i would say at the moment would be a mess.
