I've personally only read Carry On, but what did you guys think about the series and how it ties in with Fangirl?

i haven't read fangirl, but i read carry on and wayward son and tbh i do not understand the hype. this book has no plot at all and it ia so cringy, i am surprised i managed to convince myself to finish the first 2 books. i doubt i'll ever read the 3rd book, but who knows maybe i'll end up reading it. earlier this year i told myself i'll not read the 4th acotar book, but as the release comes nearer, i am actually starting to wanna read it.

I really like how Fangirl was published then Rainbow Rowell wrote a book about the fanfic of the fabricated series in Fangirl. At first, I was skeptical but I think she transitioned very well. After reading Carry On I really enjoyed how the story ended but I'm still deciding whether I am going to read the second and eventually third one that comes out soon.

well, wayward son is hella angsty and very sad if you’re up for it.
