Never Ending TBR discussion

Welcome to the Seven!

This is a go at your own pace challenge, where you will just follow the different tours provided. As you guessed, each tour will consist of 7 different tasks (3 for causal readers).
There is a twist..of course....when you check in your tour, you will have to complete one of the Seven Deadly Sin in order to continue. They may help you, or slow you down however It will be random. To make it fair, I will let you know who or are going to help...or harm.

To sign up your create your own thread in this folder, or If you want me make one for you just state so below.
You will want to reserve a handful of spots as you will need to keep track of where you currently are as well as tracking for various challenges as some tours might lead into others.

Please make sure you mention if you are a Causal Reader (Someone who reads less than 100 books per year)

Question: 1) When does it start?

…..when you check in your tour, you will have to complete one of the Seven Deadly Sin in order to continue.

Question: 2) So do we check in, then read for the sin of our choice, then wait for you to say it's okay to continue or do we just continue on to the next round? Or do we read for one of the sins before checking in?

I will asign you a sin once you check in. Once you complete that sin, you will post a completion post in tne sin thread. Once the sin part is completed you will move to the next leg. Some Sins do ivolve your next tour, if you have one of those, you would complete that net tour with you sin tasks

You have no idea how much I tried to resist this one, since I'm failing so hard at the others...

But heck... you can't just throw a Deadly Sins themed anything my way and don't expect me to bite...

At least this is a go at your own pace, there is no pressure to get anything done in a certain amount of time

Casual reader!

Ok, one more dumb question but are we counting graphic novels or only novel-novels?

I am joining too, please, as a Casual Reader: Sue's Sorrowful Seven

I am fairly new to this group, and this is the first challenge for this group that I am joining. Thanks, Abbie for creating the group and the challenges!

I have a few more questions about what can be counted. ( I see the answer above about graphic novels - Thanks.)
Some of the items on my TBR which I want to work through are freebies which I've gotten from Audible or Audiofile's Sync program for young adults (although I'm far from a young adult; I am 60 yrs + - I think YA books can be really good reads.)
* Can "Audible Originals" which are often 1 hr - 4 hrs in length and not available in print be counted?
* Can audio dramas (most of the ones I have are from LA Theatre Works thru Sync) be counted?
* Can children's books - middle grade be counted?

One other question - If today, 11/1, is the start date for the challenge, can a book be counted if I started it before 11/1, but finish on 11/1 or after? Or do the books need to be started 11/1 or after?

Sue, any book counts including Audio, and children as long as it has a Good Reads Book version. Page count does not matter, however I do encourage not to take advantage of that too much and read some heartier books every once in awhile as well.

Any book finished as of 11/1 will count. Start date does not matter.

For the Inigo Montoya tour, do the books have to fit the prompt exactly? Like, for example, for "My name is ________" does the title have to be ONLY a person's name, or can it be a title with a name IN it, like "Darius The Great is Not Ok?" Just want to make sure I don't accidentally cheat! LOL!

Do I need to wait until you give me a sin before I move on to the next tour?

I'm a casual reader. Can I pick any 3 blanks for Inigo Montoya tour, or must it be the first 3?

Its however you wish to play it out. It will be fun just to see what eveyone puts in

You can go ahead and start. It is set up that way incase you have to wait to be checked in.
