The Goodreads Choice Awards are up and running. There doesn't look to be a lot of Canadian titles in the mix, although I'm sure I have missed some. My bookishness hasn't been on its A game lately! Best Mystery & Thriller:
The Push by Ashley Audrain
Not a Happy Family by Shari Lapena
Best History & Biography:
The Bomber Mafia: A Dream, a Temptation, and the Longest Night of the Second World War by Malcolm Gladwell
Best Middle Grade & Children's:
Unplugged by Gordon Korman
Best Debut Novel:
The Push by Ashley Audrain
There’s also Mona Awad in the Horror category and Seth Rogen in the Humour category. All's Well by Mona Awad
Yearbook by Seth Rogen

Seth Rogen is Canadian? Mind blown!
Thanks @ Allison hikes the bookwoods for your post about The Goodreads Choice Awards. Your reminder had me check out the nominations and as always, it's a good source for great books that haven't been on my radar.I was pleasantly surprised at the diversity of the authors this year and/or the diversity of the book's characters and settings of content.
Thank you also @ Susan B for pointing out some other Canadian authors I have yet to read.
I also noticed 1 more Canadian author in POETRY -
Jasmin Kaur author o] If I Tell You the Truth no relation to Rupi Kaur -
