This was definitely not a typical high school book! There are some Dexter parallels, but I did not think it was overly close - and gets less so as the story progresses. Overall, I enjoyed this. And this is an example of the value I'm getting from this challenge - reading books I otherwise would have overlooked, and getting outside my usual areas!
