Star Wars Legends Fan Group discussion

I have just started on my timeline read. I’m skipping a handful of the last books that I don’t have. Who else is doing a timeline read? I am not doing books that I don't have/can't get!

This might help if you decide to read SW chronologically or even if you'd just like to find out what comes before and after the SW book you're reading right now.

The official SW Legends timeline is printed at the beginning of Legends books.



It divides the whole of SW History into seven eras altogether:

SW LEGENDS TIMELINE:
1/ Before the Republic /37,000 - 25, 000 BBY/
2/Old Republic /5000-67 BBY/
3/ Rise of the Empire /67-0 BBY/
4/ Rebellion /0-5 ABY/
5/New Republic /5-25 ABY/
6/New Jedi Order /25-40 ABY/
7/Legacy /40+ ABY/

BBY= Before the Battle of Yavin (the battle at the end of Ep. IV: A New Hope)
ABY = After the Battle of Yavin

One of the fans on reddit digitalized the timeline into a neat graphic file. It contains all of the adult SW Legends books.

We're going to use this timeline to declutter the current eras sections of the Group. So if you're in doubt where to put your topic discussing a particular SW book - check out this timeline to be sure. :)
