I haven't read this yet but I'm guessing the connection is Grant Campbell is related to Shelby Campbell?

Finished this one. I enjoyed it even though it was a pretty short read.

However, I loved their careers! I learned so much about how a cartoon is crafted. And, Gennie’s painting was interesting.
I liked these two but struggled with what Gennie saw in Grant. He was a bit too nasty for my tastes.
Anyone else have a point of view?
I liked everything in this story except how Grant was such a jerk. I really loved Gennie but wondered why she would let him get away with it.

Definitely but he will never be one of my favorite characters in this series.I probably should not say never because in other series, authors have completely changed my mind about a character...lol

Geneviève (Gennie) Grandeau: Artist. She has black hair and green eyes.
Shelby Campbell MacGregor: Grant’s sister, a potter with a shop in Georgetown called Calliope. She recently married Alan. She’s 26-years old and has curly red hair and gray eyes.
Alan MacGregor: Eldest of the MacGregor siblings. He’s a US senator. He recently married Shelby. He’s 35-years old with dark hair and dark brown eyes.
