Once Marin got there, she said to Mare, "Okay, I don't know who you are, but I like your style. And I never really work with people, but you seem like somebody who isn't too obnoxious, and I suppose I could use some help. So, would you like to make an alliance?"
She taps her chin, "Okay.."
(brb in 10 min or so)
(brb in 10 min or so)
(Okay that's fine)
"So...?" Marin said, "What do you say?"
"So...?" Marin said, "What do you say?"
"Okay, and just out of curiousity, what district are you? I'm 6, but honestly, my district partner is annoying."
She smiles, "District four"
(Actually idk XD)
(Actually idk XD)
(XD) Marin nods. "By the way, I don't think you know my name. I'm Marin."
"Nice to meet you Marin..I'm Mare"
"Nice to meet you, too," says Marin, and goes back downstairs. Right before she goes down, though, she says to Mare, "Don't tell anybody about our alliance." Marin then goes back to the training room
Thea runs up here and looks over the railing at the Capitol skyline, tears running down her cheeks. He's right. I'm going to die. I'm weak. How could I possibly have thought I had a chance?
Blake runs up to the rooftop behind Thea. "Althea!"he calls out, rushing up beside her. His heart breaks when he sees her tears. "What's wrong?" he asks, his voice full of sadness.
She turns to looks at him, her chocolate-brown eyes shining with tears. "I'm gonna die, aren't I? I don't wanna die, Blake."
Blake's frown deepens. "No…No, you're not going to die. I won't let you. Okay?"
"But I don't want you to die, either," Thea says, burrowing her face in his chest, arms wrapped around him tightly.
Blake holds her close and swallows the lump in his throat. He hates seeing her like this. "I know you don't want me to die. I'l try not to, okay?" he says, offering a shaky smile.
"But we aren't strong! Well, you're strong, but I'm not, and I just hold you back!" Thea sobs. "I'm either gonna die or you're gonna end up dead because of me, or both!"
Blake scoffs. "I weigh like 120 pounds Thea. There's nothing strong about me. And you won't hold me back. We're a team. Team chicken. If I die defending you then…Oh, well. It was an honor competing with you. Always remember that. No matter what happens."
Blake pats her head. "Not if I have anything to do with it."
Blake smirks at her. "That's what you think."
"Feeling better?" he asked, smiling a bit.
Thea nods and hugs him tightly. "Thanks, Blake."((I realized a lil bit ago some of the similarities between Thea and Rue and I can't stop thinking about it AAAH--))
((I know! Thea's sooo sweet!))
Blake hugs her back and smiles widely. "Anytime Thea."
Blake hugs her back and smiles widely. "Anytime Thea."
((Don't worry! Blake won't let her!))
Blake nods. "We'll stay up here as long as you need."
Blake nods. "We'll stay up here as long as you need."
((THEY BETTER NOT DIE. I'm more attached to these characters than any other character I've ever had))

Thea nods. "Thanks. D'you wanna see something cool?"
Blake grins and says, "yeah. Show me!"
Thea picks up a small rock that was sitting on the ground, then hurled it off the edge of the building. The force field around the top that was there to prevent suicides threw the rock back at them and it skittered across the ground.
"Whoa!" Blake gasps, his eyes widening in excitement, "that's so-" his voice trails off, as fear clutches his heart, "how do you know about the force field? You didn't try to jump did you!?" he croaks, praying she says no.
Blake nods a little. "Swear it?"
Thea blinks again. She hopes he hasn't noticed she does this when she lies. She nods. "Of course not! That would be a very selfish thing for me to do."
Blake narrows his eyes at her, sure she is lying. "You're right. It would be selfish," he says, his voice low and filled with pain.
"So why would I do it? I care about you, Blake. Although, if I had chosen to jump off and it had actually worked, I'm sure you'd be fine, considering that you'd still have Caesar," Thea says, her voice breaking at the end of the sentence.
"You were planning on jumping!" Blake shouts, his heart breaking.
"H-how could you even consider that? How could you think about killing yoursef after all the crap we've been through? Why the heck should we even try?" he roars, trying not to cry. This entire day, this entire life is starting to get to him.

"Be-because I thought you would be better off without me! Because you'd still have Caesar and I wouldn't be a burden, slowing you down all the time!" Thea says.
Blake shook his head and pulled Thea close. "How many times do I have to tell you Thea! You are not a burden! And Caesar can never replace you!"
"You know he's right. I'm as significant and as tough as an ant. He's the one who could actually help you win," she says, her voice barely more than a whisper as tears trickle down her cheeks again.
Blake sighs deeply. "First off he's an idiot. Second odd ants are really strong and so are you. And third off you either win with me or we don't win at all."
Thea takes a shaky deep breath and nods. "I'm sorry. It was really selfish of me to even think like that."
Blake strokes Thea's hair and shakes his head, afraid to let her out of his sight now. "No need to be sorry. You're just scared. Just promise me you won't try it again. Caesar doesn't have to be on our team, just…Don't try this ever again."
Blake nods, hoping she means it. "Okay. I take it you don't want to train right now?"
